The progress of the investigations on the coup attempt in Brazil underlines the long arm of the military power, which by complicity or omission paved the way for the fanatic mobs of former president Jair Bolsonaro, to plunder the seat of the three powers of the local democracy.

One of the first signs of the conspiracy lies in the speed of the entrance of the Bolsonaro hordes to the capital's Planalto Palace, after overcoming the insufficient security.

The lack of a large and efficient security personnel did not seem to be an isolated fact, since the intelligence services were already alerted about the aggressive intentions of Bolsonaro's fanatics.

Quite a few of them remained in a frenzy in front of the army headquarters in Brasília for 70 days.

The governor of the Federal District, Ibaneis Rocha, denounced that the army prevented the withdrawal from the settlements of the followers of the former prime minister.

This happened in spite of the fact that they set off alarms by claiming electoral fraud, without evidence, demanding the armed forces to intervene and preventing, according to what they shouted, the arrival of communism in Brazil.

None of the uniformed men seemed to be fazed by such indications, associated with exhortations on social networks to grant the "triumph" to the ultra-right candidate, Jair Bolsonaro.

The latter praised the military during his mandate, did not hide his admiration for the coup d'état in Brazil in 1964 and protected one of his sons in the promotion of clubs favored with the sale of weapons.

All of the above is linked to a compromising finding in the house of Bolsonaro's former minister, Anderson Torres.

The police found the draft of a decree with which the government of the former army captain intended to annul the results of the elections, through the intervention of the Electoral Court.

Thus, the premeditation of the January 8 coup against democracy and the wisdom of President Lula in instructing the intervention of the Brasilia police, summoning the National Security Force to reestablish order and avoiding such a request to the Army Headquarters, are clearly evidenced.

Brazil continues to be shaken by the furious attack against the three basic powers of the nation and by the course of the investigations that do not stop even when knocking at the doors of some police and military commanders.
