
46th International Festival of New Latin American Cinema
Havana, May 7 (RHC)-- The deadline for submitting works for the 46th edition of the International Festival of New Latin American Cinema, to be held in Havana from December 4 to 14 of this year, opened earlier this week, according to the event's office in Havana.
The Festival, considered one of the most important seventh art events for the visibility of Latin American and Caribbean cinema, is holding competitions for Fiction Feature Film, First Feature Film, Documentary Feature Film, Short Film, Animation, Other Territories, Reef, Unpublished Screenplay, Poster, and Post-Production.
According to the call for entries, only productions with a Latin American theme, completed in 2024 and 2025, may be submitted to the film competition. that have not previously participated in other international festivals held in Cuba or that have been openly shared on digital platforms.
The submission period for films will remain open until August 15th, and registration can be made through the Festival website http://www.habanafilmfestival.com or at the event venue, located at 2nd Street, corner of 19th Street, in the Plaza de la Revolución municipality.
In both cases, the registration fees will be paid, in accordance with the regulations.
