Havana, August 12 (RHC)-- Villa Clara and Guantanamo reached six wins in the 7th National Under-23 Baseball Series and lead groups B and D, respectively.

The Azucareros defeated Matanzas 5x4 at the Augusto César Sandino Stadium, with the second positive credit of the game going to Jan Cabrera.

The other highlight of the day was the performance of Avileño pitcher Leonardo Reyes, who during the seven innings of the game gave up two hits to the Gallos de Sancti Spíritus (5x0).
