France and Cuba united in a day of sports and solidarity

Paris, November 5 (PL) - The city of Tremblay-en-France is hosting this Saturday a special meeting organized together with the Cuba Coopération France (CubaCoop) association to celebrate sports and solidarity with the presentation of the island's youth boxing team.

The Guimier gymnasium, located on the outskirts of this capital, will be the venue of the rapprochement, through which the local Mayor's Office and the association will ratify their support to Cuba and their commitment to a project aimed at receiving athletes from the Antillean nation in view of their preparation for the Paris-2024 Olympic Games.

"Tremblay with the colors of Cuba", that's how the organizers promoted this afternoon's meeting, which will include the music of the island and the exhibition of its young boxers.

An opportunity to appreciate the talent of future champions, in a sport in which the largest of the Antilles is a world leader, and above all to promote solidarity and a healthy life for children and adolescents.

The Cuban youth boxing team is preparing on French soil to compete in the world youth championship scheduled for this month in Spain.

At the beginning of the year, CubaCoop launched the project to receive athletes from the Caribbean country on their way to Paris-2024, a call to which more than twenty cities responded, among which Tremblay-en-France stands out.
