Havana, January 24 (RHC) - The construction of part of the athletes' village, the renovation of the Grand Palais monument and the Colombes swimming pool are the only three facilities that are currently slightly behind schedule.

However, the director of Solideo, the company in charge of the project, insists that everything will be ready in time for the start of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Of the 70 venues being prepared for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, only three are behind schedule compared to the work plan drawn up by the project managers. This was reported by the head of Solideo, the company in charge of the infrastructure.

The three areas that will have to be adapted to the schedule are part of the Village, the largest Olympic Games facility, the renovation of the Grand Palais monument in central Paris, where the fencing events will be held, and the Colombes training pool in northern Paris.

The latter requires special supervision and should be completed in June. According to officials, all 70 sites are expected to be completed before the deadline.
