Cuba attends TTG tourism fair in Rimini, Italy

Rome, October 9 (RHC)-- Cuba is participating at the 56th edition of the international fair TTG Travel Experience in the Italian seaside city of Rimini, which got underway Wednesday with a varied offer for the coming winter season.

The three-day fair is Italy´s most important exhibition for professionals in the sector, and it is a recognized platform for the promotion of Italian and global tourism. Cuba is participating with a stand representing Cubanacán, Islazul, Gran Caribe, Sol Meliá, Iberostar, Blue Diamond and Muthu hotel chains.

The Cuban delegation is headed by the First Deputy Minister of Tourism, Luis Miguel Diaz, who is joined by executives from Cubana Airline, Havanatur Agency, other receptive agencies and Italian tour operators.

The offer of the Cuban tourist product arrived in Rimini after completing its traditional annual advertisement tour that started in Rome and which included on this occasion the cities of Salerno, Foggia and Pescara, with novel proposals and numerous attractions, including activities for the celebration of the 500th anniversary of the founding of Havana, Wonder City of the World.

For the Cuban delegation, the TTG Fair is expected to becomes an excellent opportunity for the promotion of the 40th edition of the International Tourism Fair FitCuba 2020, scheduled to take from May 4-9 2020 at Plaza America, Varadero, with Russia as guest country.

Also at Rimini Fair Cuba willmake the call for the First International Fair of Tourism and Health, scheduled for October 2020in Havana´s  Las Praderas.

Some  three thousand exhibitors are attending the Itralian tourism fair, with more than 130 tourist destinations and Costa Rica as guest country.
