Former Bolivian President Evo Morales denounced a political campaign of dirty war and falsehood to destabilize the democratic government of Luis Arce.

La Paz, June 18 (RHC)-- Former Bolivian President Evo Morales denounced a political campaign of dirty war and falsehood to destabilize the democratic government of Luis Arce.

In a message posted on the social network Twitter, Evo said that political actors seek to intervene in the Bolivian justice system, provoking a "dirty war" to clear those responsible for the 2019 coup against him.

"We denounce before the Bolivian people and the international community that the coup right wing, responsible for the coup d'état, massacres, corruption and Human Rights violations, has launched a political campaign of dirty war and falsehood in order to achieve impunity."

The former head of state emphasized that these movements, in essence, seek to generate chaos and destabilize the current Bolivian government, presided by Luis Arce, so he has called on social movements "to stop this attack against the clamor" of the Bolivian people.

He also said that several far-right senators from the United States, who recognized the de facto government of Jeanine Añez, the racist politicians of the European Parliament, as well as the fascist former presidents of Bolivia, have joined forces to disseminate false statements with the aim of hindering access to justice for those who were victims of the coup and the massacres that occurred in 2019.
