Havana, March 5 (RHC)-- The eleventh anniversary of the physical departure to immortality of Commander Hugo Chávez (1954-2013) will be remembered today in Venezuela with diverse political and cultural activities and mobilizations.

The commemoration will have as its center the mausoleum where his remains rest in the Cuartel de la Montaña, where from early hours the people and the youth of the United Socialist Party (PSUV) will pay eternal tribute to their imperishable guide.

Ana Cabezas, Director of the Eternal Commander Hugo Chavez Foundation, declared the day before to Venezolana de Televisión that as every March 5th, the people will go to this sacred site of the homeland to "pay tribute" to the Bolivarian leader.

She explained that the program includes tours through the exhibition halls and the public will be able to appreciate the photographic exhibition called "Hope is in the streets", motto of the commemoration.

The young Venezuelan pointed out that the day will last until March 26, which marks three decades since the release of the so-called Eternal Commander from the Yare prison and the beginning of a nationwide tour to expand the Bolivarian Revolutionary Movement 200.

Cabezas expressed that children will also have their space with playful activities with the aim of bringing them closer not only to the Commander, but also to preserve his values and way of acting.

In these spaces, he said, we try that besides having fun, the children can feel safe, have fun and leave with a lesson learned because they learn about the history of Venezuela through the Commander, the Liberator Simón Bolívar and the people.

At 4:30 p.m. local time, the salute of honor that every day shakes all of Caracas will be heard, he said.

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro stated yesterday in his X account that Chavez "is still with us", in every struggle, in every action and in the heart of each one of us, those who love this land.

"Long live Chávez forever!", he emphasized.

In a meeting the day before with the political high command, Maduro highlighted that the Bolivarian leader went undefeated to his immortality.

He highlighted that the Revolution has five generations "united and integrated" as a result of the work, spirit, methods and "magnificent personality of our Commander Chavez".

The PSUV will also carry out this Tuesday a great mobilization called "red carnations" which will depart from different points of Greater Caracas and will converge at the Cuartel de la Montaña, in the parish of 23 de enero. (Source: Prensa Latina)
