Cuban and Spanish Universities Consider Bilateral Collaboration

Havana, February 11 (RHC)-- University authorities from Cuba and Spain further debated on Monday current cooperative relations with a view to further expanding such links.

During a meeting with nine Spanish university rectors in Havana, the rector of the University of Havana, Gustavo Cobreiro, indicated the excellent relations with counterparts in Spain.

In the context of the International University 2014 Congress, the Cuban rector further praised Spanish-Cuba bilateral cooperation projects along with other international initiatives.

Cobreiro confirmed that the University of Havana is developing no less than 263 international projects in 30 areas, and has relations with over 60 universities worldwide.
