Cuba at Business Conference in Zimbabwe

Havana, February 18 (RHC)-- Cuban officials attended at Business and Investment Conference held this week in Harare, Zimbabwe, which was called by that country´s Chamber of Commerce.

The forum was inaugurated by the minister of the Zimbabwean Presidency for Bulawayo province, Eunice Nombthandazo, with the participation of a large number of entrepreneurs from around the world.
 

In remarks at the Conference, Cuban Ambassador to Harare Elio Savon briefed participants about the ongoing update of the Cuban economic model and the business opportunities being offered by the island.

The diplomat also explained about the new Mariel Special Development Zone under construction in western Cuba, which offers attractive opportunities to foreign investors.
