Havana, June 26 (RHC)-- The Cuban Friendship Institute (ICAP) announced that Japan's Peace Boat will dock at Havana Port on July 17th, as part of its 98th Global Voyage for Peace, which departed from Yokohama, Japan, on May 8th.
The Havana Port is one of 25 such spots in 23 countries, which the Peace Boat will visit before returning to Japan on August 22nd.
Marking 35 years of history as an organization, this anniversary voyage is host to the 2018 "Global Voyage for a Nuclear-Free World Project".
A delegation of survivors of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki travels on board Peace Boat to give personal testimony and call for the abolition of nuclear weapons.
