Havana, October 12 (RHC)-- The Cuban Foreign Ministry (MINREX) has termed as positive the results of exchanges with representatives of the European Union on the issue of human rights, in the framework of the bilateral agreement signed between the two sides in November 2017.
A press release issued by MINREX explains that official delegations from the EU and Cuba exchanged views on peoples' enjoyment of their civil, political, cultural and economic rights.
The Cuban delegation set forth the country's achievements despite Washington's blockade of the island.
The Cuban delegation was headed by the Director General for Multilateral Affairs and International at MINREX, Rodolfo Reyes, while the EU delegation was led by Deputy Managing Director for the Americas of the European External Action Service, Hugo Sobral.
