Angolan Foreign Minister visits Cuba

Havana, June 4 (RHC)—Angolan Foreign Minister Manuel Augusto arrived in Cuba Monday for a three-day working visit. According to a press release issued by the Angolan Foreign Ministry, during his stay on the island, Augusto will prepare the upcoming trip to Havana by Angolan President João Lourenço, within the framework of the strengthening of bilateral and friendship relations.

According to the Foreign Ministry, Augusto will tour places of historic and social interest, and will hold talks with Cuban high-ranking officials, among them the minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment, Rodrigo Malmierca, and his counterpart Bruno Rodriguez.

The Angolan top diplomat will also pay tribute to Cuba´s National Hero, Jose Marti, at the Plaza de la Revolucion.
