Havana, July 10 (RHC)-- Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez highlighted on his Twitter account this Friday that Cuba has not lost any of its health professionals due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

"Cuba does not suffer the death of any of its health professionals due to the pandemic.  It is a sign of its preparedness, protective measures and support of a health system that allows the work of saving lives to continue," the Caribbean nation's foreign minister tweeted.

And he added: "We are proud of this dedication" -- accompanying the message with an image that said "Proud to be Cuban, a small country with big people."

Also this Friday on another tweet, Bruno Rodríguez condemned that the policies of the current U.S. government threaten the peace and security of our geographic area.

"They manage to sabotage the progress of bilateral and regional cooperation in the areas of drug trafficking, terrorism and human trafficking."
