Havana, Jan 22 (RHC) The president of the Provincial Defense Council (CDP) of Havana, Luis Antonio Torres Iríbar, described the city's epidemiological situation as very difficult and warned that it could become even tenser due to the increase of cases.

In this possible scenario, it would be considered a ban on people and vehicles mobility during nighttime hours, as was applied in the first outbreak.

Another symptom of the seriousness of the situation is the increase in deaths, especially of patients who are not considered vulnerable because they are relatively young.

Torres Iríbar urged primary care personnel to detect all possible suspects, applying a rigorous medical examination and antigen testing when appropriate.

He said that the screening students have to be more energetic and report rigorously to the doctor's office daily.

The CDP president criticized the relaxation of the sanitary protocol in the health institutions, which has caused 180 infections among its personnel in January.
