The U.S. Coast Guard returns 36 irregular migrants to Cuba

Havana, July 5 (RHC) U.S. Coast Guard returned 36 Cuban citizens who participated in six illegal departures. 

According to information published by the Granma newspaper, the handover to Cuban authorities took place at Orozco Bay, Artemisa.

The departures took place along the northern coast of Artemisa, Matanzas, Camaguey, Havana, and Villa Clara provinces.

With this group, 411 people have been returned to Cuba by the U.S. authorities in 2021.
