Havana, September 10 (RHC)-- Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel talked on Friday with members of the Hermanos Saiz Association about youth participation in defense of the revolutionary project from the arts.

On Twitter, the presidential group reported that they also discussed the role of young people in the main tasks of the nation in this meeting.

The meeting is a continuation of other similar meetings that the Head of State promotes with representatives of different sectors of society to hear their opinions and suggestions on various issues of the country's life.

In a previous meeting with university students, Díaz-Canel assured that the government is renewing its work mechanisms based on its dialogues with young people and other sectors.

In the government plan, young people have a privileged place, and the President reiterated the importance of listening to their opinions and concerns on several occasions.

Previously, the head of state also held talks with students from the Higher Institute of International Relations, the University of Physical Culture and Sports Sciences, the Technological University of Havana, and the University of Medical Sciences, among other institutions.

Diaz-Canel recently wrote on his Twitter account: 'The meetings we have had these days ratify the immense pride we feel for the Cuban youth. We count on you for all the battles'.

The AHS emerged in 1986 to voluntarily and selectively bring together young writers, artists, and cultural promoters up to 35 years of age.
