Cuba reports 8342 new COVID'19 cases, 74 deaths

Havana, Sep 13 (RHC)-- Cuba's Ministry of Public Health reported 8,342 new cases of Covid-19 in the country, a figure indicating an unchanged epidemiological situation.

Seventy-four people died. 

Speaking on Cuban television, the national director of Epidemiology, Francisco Durán, said that of the 39,610 active cases in the country, 39,162 are clinically stable.

From March 2020 to date,  Cuba has diagnosed 753,544 cases s Covid-19 and  6 373 fatalities.

Regarding pediatric cases, he commented that 1,920 were detected in the last hours, among them 116 children under one year of age, 64 under six months of age, and nine newborns.

In the last 15 days, 25,365 children became ill, at a rate of 1,691 per day, said Durán.
