Meeting of the Argentine Movement of Solidarity with Cuba

Buenos Aires, Nov 20 (RHC) Around 150 delegates from 15 provinces will participate this Sunday in the 17th National Meeting of the Argentine Movement of Solidarity with Cuba, during which they will reiterate their support for the island and condemnation of U.S. aggressions.

The meeting will take place in the amphitheater of the State Workers Association in Buenos Aires, after two years of interruption of face-to-face meetings due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The event will be attended by members of the Houses of Friendship with Cuba from various territories of this country, Cubans residing in Argentina, and graduates of universities in the Caribbean nation.

During the day, topics such as the impact of the economic, commercial, and financial blockade imposed by the United States on the Island, and the internationalist work of the Cuban medical and educational brigades that carried out programs such as Operation Miracle and Yo, sí Puedo (Yes, I can) will be discussed.

The closing session will be attended by the ambassadors of Venezuela, Nicaragua, and Bolivia, members of human rights organizations, deputies, and union leaders.

The head of the Cuban diplomatic mission in Argentina, Pedro Pablo Prada, will speak at the closing of the meeting. (Source: PL)
