Havana, Dec 13 (RHC) Bolivian President Luis Arce arrived Tuesday in Cuba to participate in the 22nd Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-People's Trade Agreement (ALBA-TCP), to be held tomorrow.

Cuban Deputy Foreign Minister Josefina Vidal and part of the diplomatic corps accredited in the Caribbean country went to Havana's José Martí International Airport to welcome the president.

On the social network Twitter, the Foreign Ministry of the Island highlighted the excellent moment of the Alliance, based on the founding principles of solidarity, social justice, cooperation, and economic complementarity, the fruit of the political will of its architects, Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz (1926-2016) and Hugo Chávez Frías (1954-2013), leader of the Bolivarian Revolution.

As part of the celebrations for the 18th anniversary of the creation of that coordination mechanism, the Council of State convened for tomorrow the Sixth Extraordinary Session of the National Assembly of People's Power, in its 9th Legislature, at the Havana Convention Palace. (Source: ACN)
