Cuban Prime Minister talks with his Bahamian counterpart

Havana, Dec 20 (RHC) Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz held a meeting on Tuesday with Philip Davis, Prime Minister and head of Finance of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas.

 

Through a message on Twitter, the Cuban head of government detailed that they exchanged on the excellent state of bilateral relations.

 

Likewise, they ratified the willingness of both parties to continue expanding ties in areas of common interest.

 

Marrero Cruz took the opportunity to thank the Bahamas for its pronouncements against the U.S. media campaign that seeks to discredit Cuban medical cooperation, as well as for the support received in the fight against the economic and financial blockade that the United States maintains against the West Indian nation.

 

Philip Davis has been on an official visit to Cuba since last Monday. During his stay in Havana, he will hold talks with Cuban authorities and carry out other activities of interest (Source: ACN).
