Havana, Feb 6 (RHC) Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero Cruz began a visit on Monday to the municipality of Gibara, in the eastern province of Holguin, as part of the program of exchanges of candidates to the National Assembly of People's Power (Parliament) with the population.

In his Twitter account, the head of government said that the tour seeks to strengthen the link with the people, to know their proposals and suggestions, to move forward in solving problems, and together, make 2023 a better year for the municipality and the country.

Marrero Cruz said that the day began with a tribute to Commander Camilo Cienfuegos on the 91st anniversary of his birth (February 6), after which he exchanged with authorities of that territory on how to promote local development by exploiting the potential of the region.
