Irregular migrants return to Cuba by air from the Bahamas

Havana, Mar 2 (RHC) The Cuban Ministry of the Interior reported that Bahamian authorities returned a group of 128 irregular migrants to Cuba by air this Friday following the agreements established between the two nations.

 

According to the Ministry of the Interior, one of these migrants was taken into custody to investigate his involvement in serious criminal acts committed before his illegal departure.

 

This is the 41st return operation (eighth from the Bahamas) in 2023 and with it, the number of persons returned from various countries in the region reaches 2,601. (Source: Prensa Latina).
