Cuba and Cambodia emphasize their friendship and collaboration
Havana, May 14 (RHC) The strong bonds of friendship and collaboration between Cuba and Cambodia were commended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom, Chum Sounry.
Upon the arrival of the Cuban Ambassador, Milena Zaldivar, at the Foreign Ministry, Sounry reiterated his country's commitment to expanding mutually beneficial cooperation and enhancing bilateral relations in the years to come.
He also confirmed Cambodia's unwavering stance against the U.S. economic, commercial, and financial blockade imposed on Cuba more than six decades ago, and against the inclusion of the island on the list of countries allegedly supporting terrorism.
Zaldívar, in turn, regarded the current state of bilateral relations and the strong bonds of solidarity as a foundation for the ties between the two nations and their governments, which have just celebrated the 65th anniversary of their diplomatic ties.
The Cuban ambassador also thanked the Kingdom for its commitment to enhancing cooperation, recognizing the vast opportunities for growth that both nations possess in areas of mutual benefit. (Source: Prensa Latina)
