Algiers, May 4 (RHC) -- Cuban President Raul Castro met with Algerian Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal on Monday morning in Algiers, to discuss ways to strengthen political relations and boost bilateral trade.
A report by the official Algerian news agency APS says that both leaders discussed world affairs during their meeting, which was also attended by Algerian Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Health, Ramtan Lamamra and Abdelmalek Budiaf, respectively.
Afterwards, the Cuban president met with the president of the People's National Assembly, Ould Khelifa.
Raul arrived Sunday morning in Algeria for a three day official visit, following an invitation of the Algerian president.
