Havana, April 14, (RHC), – On Saturday evening, Cuban president, Raul Castro, received the President-elect of El Salvador, Salvador Sanchez Ceren, currently Vice President of that Central American country, who paid a working visit to the Caribbean island.
During the fraternal meeting, both leaders noted the encouraging progress of bilateral relations and the ample prospects for their development.
The distinguished visitor was accompanied by his wife, Margarita Villalta, and Manuel Melgar, appointed Private Secretary to the future president. On the Cuban side, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, First Vice President of the Councils of State and Ministers, and Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, Minister for Foreign Affairs, also attended the meeting.
