Havana, August 29 (RHC) – The Royalton, located in the historic center of Bayamo city, in Granma province, stands out among the most popular hotels in the world for the quality of its services and facilities.

Each year, the holidaycheck.es independent site chooses the best hostelries internationally after analyzing the opinions of over 980,000 users, taking into account the percentage of recommendations granted by category.

This edition also includes Las Palmas Boutique Hotel, in the city of Trinidad (Sancti Spritus), and Blau Varadero (Matanzas), in the categories of Number 1 in the country and couples, respectively.

The Royalton, operated by Islazul hotel group, highlights for an excellent combination of accommodations and good food; while its favorable location invites a pleasant stay in the second village founded by Spaniards in Cuba.

The facility, located on Maceo Street, just a short distance from the square where the National Anthem of Cuba was sung for the first time, has 33 rooms, a restaurant, lobby bar and cyber-cafe. The rooms, all air-conditioned, have a private bathroom, telephone, satellite TV, safe-deposit box, mini bar and equalized music system in rooms and public areas.

On its official site, the Cuban hotel chain says that being included in the category of Cuba’s E Hotels is another attraction for choosing this jewel of the historic city.

Tripadvisor, leader among travel sites in the world, collects 53 reviews of visitors of this facility, some of which highlight its good location, colonial atmosphere and affable service.

In 2013, the National Union of Hotel and Tourism Workers awarded the Royalton workers the distinction of Quality Leader by showing high efficiency indicators and over 95 percent of customer satisfaction.
