Havana, November 19 (RHC) -- The traditional Japanese Kabuki Theater will be presented in the Cuban capital to mark the city’s 500th anniversary and the 90th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and Cuba.

‘Invitation to Kabuki’ is an approach to this traditional Japanese theater, proposed by world-famous actor Kyozo Nakamura, who visits the island to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the establishment of Japan-Cuba diplomatic relations and the 500 years of Havana’s founding, the Cuban embassy in Japan announced on Facebook. The performances will be on Friday, November 29 and Saturday, November 30, at 7:00 pm at the Martí Theater in Old Havana with free admission. ‘Do not miss the opportunity of this unique approach to one of the most traditional performing arts in Japan,’ the diplomatic mission added.
