Havana, July 4 (RHC)-- The film "AM-PM," the latest work by Cuban filmmaker Alejandro Gil, will have its premiere on July 6 at the Charles Chaplin movie theater in Havana, the director told Prensa Latina exclusively on Monday.

The film's cast includes renowned actors such as Blanca Rosa Blanco, Eman Xor Oña, Jorge Martínez, Verónica Lyn, Yaremis Pérez, Clarita García and Armando Miguel Gómez, among others.

In this regard, Gil stressed that am pm is the last film in Cuban cinema in which the talented and admired Enrique Molina, who passed away in 2021, acted. The filmmaker explained that the story revolves around five dramatic axes that intertwine on the same day, hence the name of the film.

These encounters and experiences create in the protagonists an inflection in the way they had lived their lives until then.

Gil noted that this fiction film was shot in the midst of the pandemic, complying with all security protocols, and despite the hard work, the result is satisfactory and is expected to be well received by the public.

The script of the film is by Amilcar Salatti with the collaboration of Senel Paz, music by Magda Rosa Galvan and Juan Antonio Leyva, photography by Angel Alderete and production by Audiovisuales Icaic (Source: Prensa Latina).
