INDER receives donation in Japan for rehabilitation of athletes

Tokyo, September 10 (RHC/JIT)-- The Japanese company Techno Link made a donation in Tokyo of two advanced equipment for the rehabilitation of Cuban athletes.

President Kanda Jin explained that it is a technology developed exclusively by his company, which is used by all Japanese baseball franchises and other disciplines, in addition to being used in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Kanda expressed his admiration for the outstanding results of the Island in the recently concluded Games and reiterated the willingness to continue supporting Cuban athletes participating in international competitions, including the upcoming Paris 2024 Games.

Raúl Fornés Valenciano, First Vice President of INDER, expressed his appreciation for the gesture and highlighted Techno Link's cooperative relationship with Cuba over the past decade.

The champion Omara Durand, present on the occasion along with her guide Yuniol Kindelán, also expressed their thanks for the donation that will contribute to improve the physical condition of the athletes and their performance.

For his part, Cuban Ambassador to Japan Miguel Á. Ramírez presented the businessman with an award for his contribution to sports medicine in Cuba.
