Arsenal signs 4-year-old boy

London, October 22 (RHC/PL)-- London club Arsenal has signed four-year-old Zayn Ali Salman while he is in pre-school, making him the youngest signing in its talent academy, reports the BBC.

As revealed by the British public broadcaster, Salman caught the British club's attention when they saw him playing with children twice his age.

"Obviously, we put him with players his own age, with the four, five and six-year-olds, and he was already ahead of everyone else," explained Austin Schofield, Salman's coach at the First Touch Football Academy.

He told the television network that the boy "is much faster than the rest and more willing to go for the ball. How he hits it, how he passes the ball, he is much better than the rest."

"I talked to his father and he wanted us to put him to play with the older kids. I thought ... why not, let's see how he does," Schofield noted.

Arsenal talent scout Stephen Deans also praised the play of the youngster, who has reportedly already received offers from "other big clubs" but seems "committed to his favorite club".
