Havana, August 23 (JIT)-- The Indios team, coached by Cuban Alain Bardají, tied to one goal with the defending champion Jalisco Red Bull in the Jalisco Hockey League 2022, which lived its second competitive day.

"We faced the best team in the league. We dominated the game, but we missed a lot of shots on goal," said the professor in a message sent to JIT.

"Still, I think we played well overall. The goal for our team was scored by Oscar Cardenas, who opened the scoring," he said.

"A few minutes before the closing whistle, Maikel Triztán drilled the opposing net, but the referees disallowed the goal without explanation," concluded the also director of Cuba's men's national team.

Triztán, captain of Cuba's elite team, leads a trio of athletes from the island that includes Wilfredo Sánchez and Wilmer Verrier. They all lined up and played a good game, said Bardají. Their next match will be next weekend.
