Havana, December 21 (RHC)-- The conquest of three belts and a subtitle contributed to Cuba's performance in the International Boxing Tournament in Memory of Galym Zharylgapov 2022.

In the Kazakh city of Karaganda, the centers were won by Erislan Romero (51 kg), Saidel Horta (57 kg) and Erislandy Alvarez (63 kg), and the silver was won by Fernando Arzola (+92 kg).

The report, sent to the JIT publication from the headquarters, specifies that the ascents to the center of the podium were achieved with 3-0 victories over Turkbay Mirlan, from Kyrgyzstan, and hosts Turlan Erjan and Vasili Samchuk, respectively.

Arzola lost by technical knockout in the second round to Azerbaijan's Abdula Mahamed and completed the harvest of a squad that had previously suffered the elimination of Yunier Areu (86 kg).

The event gathered 187 men from seven countries and marked the farewell of Cuban pugilism to the competitive calendar of the year that is coming to an end.
