Paris, Jun 8 (PL) The American tennis player Coco Gauff won the title of the French Roland Garros tournament, the second Grand Slam of the season, after beating the Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka in the match for the crown, with a 6-7 (5/7), 6-2, and 6-4 score.
Gauff, second seed of the French tournament, beat the first favorite and leader of the world ranking, despite losing the first set.
In total, the American scored three aces during the match, and won nine of the 21 break points she had in favor, in addition to saving seven of the 13 against.
For the American, this represented the tenth title of her professional career.
