Mexico receives twenty-third shipment of Pfizer vaccines

Mexico City, April 24 (RHC)-- The Government of Mexico reported on its official website that the country has received the twenty-third shipment with 374,400 doses of vaccines against COVID-19 produced by the pharmaceutical company Pfizer-Biontech.

At Terminal 1 of the Mexico City International Airport (AICM) Benito Juarez, flight CVG MEX 952 from Brussels, Belgium, arrived at 8:55 a.m. local time.  With the flight's arrival, now Mexico has a total of eight million 649 thousand 225 doses of this pharmaceutical.

The general director of the National Center for Preventive Programs and Disease Control (Cenaprece), Ruy López Ridaura, who was present at the arrival of the drug, said that in the early morning of April 22, 1,075,200 doses of Astrazeneca also arrived, as part of the Covax mechanism.

Pharmaceutical company #Pfizer has delivered to Mexico a total of 8 million 649,225 doses of vaccines against #COVID19.  Likewise, Ruy Lopez Ridaura said that in the flight also brings "a bulk shipment with active substance to package an average of 730 thousand doses."
