Peruvian candidates hold new presidential debate

Lima, May 30 (RHC)-- Peruvian Presidential candidates Pedro Castillo of Perú Libre and Keiko Fujimori for Fuerza Popular will hold a debate this Sunday ahead of the second round scheduled for next Sunday, June 6th.
 
The meeting organized by the National Electoral Jury (JNE) takes place in the city of Arequipa starting at 7:00 pm (local time) on Sunday.

Castillo and Fujimori will debate on six points among which are the government plan, the pandemic and the fight against corruption.

This Saturday, May 29th, 4,000 National Police officers were deployed to maintain security and order in the city before and during the presidential debate.  According to the agreement between the candidates and the electoral body, the debate will be developed in six blocks, each one with an initial exposition of three minutes for each candidate.
