Brasilia, June 23 (RHC)-- Organizations, movements and activists in Brazil issued a call on their social networks for new mobilizations on Thursday, July 24th against President Jair Bolsonaro, demanding the cessation of police violence and the acceleration of vaccinations against COVID-19.

Among the convening organizations are: Frente Brasil Popular, People without Fear, Black Coalition for Rights, the Workers Party, the Socialism and Freedom Party, among other political groups.

João Paulo Rodrigues, member of the national coordination of the Landless Rural Workers Movement (MST) and the Frente Popular Brasil, said that it was possible to "build a great unity around the realization of new protests on July 24th.  "During this period, we want to carry out a process of construction with the group of organizations of society, which oppose Bolsonaro's government."
