La Paz, December 26 (RHC)-- Bolivian President Luis Arce, during his Christmas message to the nation, highlighted the achievements of the South American country in 2021 and reiterated his government's commitments for the New Year.

The Bolivian president wished peace and unity for all Bolivians and recalled that during 2021 it was possible to recover the path of stability, certainty and economic growth.  "We have reduced unemployment, poverty and inequality.  We have all contributed with our work to the construction of the Bolivia we dream of, where Bolivians have a dignified life and a country of which we feel proud," added the Bolivian head of state.

In his Christmas message, Luis Arce reaffirmed his commitment to social justice in order to continue advancing in the reduction of poverty and social and economic inequalities. 

Luis Arce called for the unity of Bolivian families, who had to stay away because of the COVID-19 pandemic.  He recalled that Bolivia is still facing the coronavirus, but now there are better conditions to face it due to the immunization campaign and the availability of vaccines for the entire population.

The Bolivian president said that the priority of his administration was to ensure the health of the people, because with good health, the economic and productive reconstruction of the country will continue with more strength.
