Tegucigalpa, January 22 (RHC)-- Hundreds of Libre Party militants began a vigial Saturday night, called by the president-elect, Xiomara Castro, in rejection of the betrayal of 20 deputies of the political organization -- who betrayed the pre-agreement established to elect a new president in Congress.

"I have summoned them to repeat the phrase: Only the people, save the people (...) in November the people said enough of impositions and of stealing our democracy.  The people began to see a new hope that yesterday the traitors of the Honduran people wanted to stop", said Xiomara Castro.

The president-elect said that the traitors want to hand over the Legislative to the outgoing president Juan Orlando Hernandez, who has been denounced for acts of repression against the people.  "No one who has walked this country can support the dictatorship," she said.

Castro thanked the massive attendance of the people.   "We are going to return the spaces to a people that have been taken away from them, let's begin to dismantle all the meshes so that tomorrow the free people will be here", he emphasized.

The vigil will last until thee early morning hours of Sunday, and has its objective to defend the vote that gave categorical support to the political plan of the Libre Party in the elections of November.
