Havana, March 15 (RHC)-- Cuba reaffirmed its willingness to continue collaborating with Caribbean countries in projects of common interest.

Addressing the Second Conference on Cooperation of the Association of Caribbean States, in the island of Margarita, Deputy Foreign Trade and Investment Minister Ileana Núñez Mordoche said Cuba was ready to assist in strengthening the Caribbean institution and in providing active cooperation.

The focus of the agenda of this second summit on Caribbean cooperation will be regional integration. The gathering is attracting more than 70 participants and will extend till Friday. It is expected to discuss projects that could assist in developing air and sea connections among Caribbean states, lack of which hinders regional commercial and collaboration interaction.
