Cuban vice president meets visiting French minister

Havana, June 15 (RHC)-- Cuban Vice President Ricardo Cabrisas received on Friday the Secretary General of the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs of France, Maurice Gourdault-Montagne, who is in Cuba on an official visit on the occasion of bilateral consultations between foreign ministries.

During the encounter, both officials reviewed the progress of the bilateral economic agenda the main problems underway and their perspectives.

They also highlighted progress made in economic-trade relations, as well as the mutual willingness to work in coordination to continue strengthening ties in these sectors.

Accompanying Cabrisas was Armando Vergara Bueno, Acting General Director of Bilateral Affairs and Alba Soto Pimentel, Director of Europe and Canada, both from the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
