Cuba reports 11 new cases of COVID-19, one death

Havana, Sep 6 (RHC) Cuban health authorities informed Sunday that 11 persons were diagnosed in the last 24 hours with Covid-19, which brings to 4 309 the total of confirmed cases with the disease in this country.

In his daily media briefing, the National Director of Epidemiology, Doctor Francisco Durán, stated ton Sunday that 5,760 diagnostic tests were performed in the last 24 hours in the country to detect the presence of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, which causes Covid-19.

The Ministry of Public Health of Cuba regretted the death of a 56-year-old patient because of the novel coronavirus, bringing the death toll to 101. Likewise, it was reported that 20 patients were discharged, while three patients remain in critical and 13 in serious condition.

Havana continues with the highest incidence of cases, with five reported yesterday.
