639 new cases of Covid-19 and one death reported in Cuba over the last 24 hours

Cuba´s chief epidemiologist, Dr, Francisco Duran

Havana, March 13 (RHC)--The Cuban Ministry of Public Health reported on Saturday 639 new cases diagnosed with Covid-19 and one death in the last 24 hours.

With these data, the total number of confirmed cases since March 11, 2020, is 60,558 and 366 deaths, informed Dr. Francisco Durán, National Director of Epidemiology.

Of those diagnosed this day, 663 are autochthonous, and six are imported.

4 375 active cases remain hospitalized. On Friday, 18,362 PCR tests were carried out throughout the country to detect the virus's presence, which brings to 2,630,636 the total number of samples processed.
