Cuba reports 1,037 new Covid-19 cases, twelve deaths

Havana, April 18 (RHC)-- Cuba's national director of Epidemiology, Francisco Durán, informed today that in the last hours 1,037 new cases of Covid-19 were diagnosed.

In his daily press conference, Duran said that 13 people died as a result of this disease.

He explained that 4,895 patients with the disease are currently admitted to the country's hospitals.

Meanwhile, the total number of deaths due to Covid-19 is 525 and the number of people infected since March 2020 has risen to 93,511, said Durán.
