Havana, February 5 (RHC)-- The Cuban Ministry of Foreign Trade and Investment -Mincex-, thanked on Friday the Government of Hungary for the donation of 100 thousand KN95 sanitary masks, which will contribute to the confrontation of the COVID-19 pandemic in our country.  During the act of reception of the cargo, in Havana, the deputy director of Commercial Policy with Europe of the Mincex, Nélida Guerra, pointed out that the contribution to the national health system is an expression of the excellent relations of friendship and collaboration maintained between both nations.

The gesture of solidarity has a special value in the complex conditions faced by the country, due to the impact of the pandemic and the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed on the island for more than six decades by the United States, said the official, according to a note from the Cuban News Agency. Likewise, she ratified the will to continue working to strengthen and diversify ties between Cuba and Hungary.

Meanwhile, Király Zsolt, Chargé d'Affaires of the Hungarian Embassy in Cuba, said that there are several projects between the two countries and noted the efforts of the parties to materialize them.
