Havana, July 13 (RHC)-- The Cuba-Mexico Business Forum 2022 will be held on Thursday and Friday at the Hotel Nacional, under the auspices of the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Trade and Investment (MINCEX).

During the meeting, business opportunities in the agri-food, biotechnology and pharmaceutical, tourism, renewable energy, and cultural industries will be exhibited.

The event will allow business people from both nations to exchange investment attraction and promote Cuba's exportable funds in the presence of the country's different economic actors.

The Center for the Promotion of Foreign Trade and Investment (Procuba), the Cuban Chamber of Commerce, and the Embassy of the United Mexican States in Havana also sponsor the event.

Mexico is an important trade partner for the island due to its proximity, agro-industrial development, technological progress in machinery, knowledge, and trade policies.

The two nations have an Economic Complementation Agreement in force, through which tariff preferences were granted for the importation of goods. They have been committed to generating a better environment for investment and the reciprocal exchange of goods and services.
