The president was received by Vice President Salvador Valdés, Prime Minister Manuel Marrero, and Roberto Morales, Secretary of Organization of the Communist Party of Cuba.

Havana, Nov 27 (RHC) President Miguel Díaz-Canel arrived Sunday in Cuba after completing an international tour of four countries, which he described as positive because of the agreements reached in negotiations at the highest level.

The president was received by Vice President Salvador Valdés, Prime Minister Manuel Marrero, and Roberto Morales, Secretary of Organization of the Communist Party of Cuba.

Díaz-Canel and his delegation arrived in Havana from Istanbul, Turkey, where they held a meeting with businessmen from that country interested in expanding business with the island.

The trip took place from November 16 to 25 with a program designed to respond to the country's priorities, the efforts to alleviate the effects of the post-pandemic crisis, and to face the effects of the U.S. blockade.

The Cuban delegation was made up of several ministers and officials from key sectors of the national economy and had an intense round of dialogues and signing of agreements in Algeria, Russia, Turkey, and China. (Source: PL)
