Buenos Aires, Jan 1 (RHC) Members of the Cuban diplomatic and state mission in Argentina celebrated today the 64th anniversary of the triumph of the Revolution on the island and reiterated their commitment to the defense and development of their country.

Gathered together, with our hearts in Cuba, thinking of the families and our heroic people, we bid farewell to the year 2022 and welcome 2023. Like José Martí (1853-1895), we want to serve more and better, to be useful and virtuous. Duty and love encourage us, said the ambassador of the Caribbean nation, Pedro Pablo Prada.

We commemorate with great pride the triumph of 1959, thanks to which we are here. It was a difficult year, but new paths are opening up for our homeland. We still have much to do. Every goal is a starting point, he added. Likewise, he urged us to face in unity the challenges that 2023 begins with.

For the Revolution, for Fidel Castro (1926-2006), Raúl, President Miguel Díaz-Canel, and our martyrs, Viva Cuba Libre," he affirmed. (Source: Prensa Latina).
