Prime Minister of Nepal receives Cuban ambassador

 

Havana, Apr 26 (RHC) - Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal received Alejandro Simancas, Cuban ambassador to India who is concurrent in Nepal.

 

The parties discussed the interests of both countries to strengthen bilateral collaboration. Relations between Nepal and Cuba have been based on friendship and cordiality since the establishment of diplomatic ties on March 25, 1975.

 

Both countries defend in international forums the role of multilateralism in maintaining peace and stability in the world. As active members of the Non-Aligned Movement and the Group of 77, Cuba and Nepal advocate for the just causes of developing nations.

 

For the Nepalese government there are possibilities to expand bilateral ties in areas such as tourism and investment. (Source: Prensa Latina)
