Díaz-Canel highlights Cuban Party leader's visit to China

Havana, April 27 (RHC)-- President Miguel Diaz-Canel today considered the visit of the Secretary of Organization of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC), Roberto Morales to China as an important exchange and symbol of friendship.

"A visit that is also a learning experience," the president said in his official Twitter account.

Morales, accompanied by a delegation, began a visit to China on April 27 as part of a tour of Asia, which will be another opportunity to raise political dialogue to the highest level and contribute to the continued development of economic, trade, financial and cooperation relations.

The leader spoke with high-ranking authorities such as Premier Li Qiang; Cai Qui, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC); and Wang Yi, of Foreign Affairs of the Central Committee of that political organization.

He also inaugurated the fifth Theoretical Seminar between the CCP and the CPC, and after the activity two agreements were signed with an extension of five years each and with immediate effect, to expand cooperation between these party formations and also the youth of both countries.

He also visited sites of historical, cultural and social interest in the Chinese capital, Beijing, and Shanghai. (Source:PL)
